Women's Jewelry in Sterling Silver and Gold

This is the full women's range, grouped so it can be browsed by piece or by metal: rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces on one side, 18K gold vermeil, 14K solid gold and Italian chain on the other. The silver pieces are 925 sterling, which is 92.5 per cent silver alloyed for strength.

Colour does a lot of the work. Baguette-cut gemstone earrings run through blue, green and red; opal, pearl and coral bring softer surfaces; diamond solitaire and cluster earrings keep to one plain idea. Pendant necklaces and charm bracelets share the same small motifs, so pieces from different sections still sit together.

Choosing between vermeil and solid gold

Gold vermeil is a heavy gold layer over sterling silver, so it gives the warm tone at silver weight. 14K solid gold is gold all the way through and takes daily wear without the surface thinning. For something worn constantly, solid gold is the safer buy; for occasional colour, vermeil does the job well.
