Women's Pendant Necklaces and Chains
Nearly every piece in this group is built around one pendant on a fine chain, which keeps the interest at the hollow of the throat. The pendants themselves stay small: a droplet, a heart, a hexagonal eye, a bee, a single stone held in a claw setting.
Blue runs through much of the range, from the eye pendants to the azure and droplet designs, with pink and scarlet stones covering the warmer end. A short chain carrying a small pendant is the easiest thing to layer beneath a longer one, and the light weights here make that comfortable rather than bulky.
Chain length and where a pendant falls
On most necks a 40 to 45 cm chain lands at the collarbone, and a 50 cm chain a little below it, which is where a heavier pendant hangs best. When layering two, leave at least five centimetres between them so the pendants do not knock together and scratch each other.
